About Greetings for Gratitude
In 2022, Molly McBride, a then 4th grader in Rhode Island, joined with other pageant title holders to create a deliver cards to veterans in Rhode Island through the Valentine's for Vets program.
In 2023, Molly organized a Cupid Crew to expand the reach of the Valentine's for Vets program with a mission to donate Valentine’s Day cards to residents at local nursing homes and assisted living communities. That first year 300 cards were donated to 3 facilities.

In 2024, the Cupid Crew collected over 800 cards and were able to give at least 1 card to residents at 6 different homes. Seeing the joy the cards bring to the recipients and those who make them an idea was born and Greetings of Gratitude was created to bring that joy year round.

Greetings of Gratitude now features the Cupid Crew, Holiday Helpers, Valued Veterans, Kindness Crew, and Kindness Workshops and offers year round delivery of messages of kindness and compassion to senior citizens across the state. We are grateful for our partnerships with area schools and organizations who help Molly in her mission to continue to build Greetings of Gratitude.
Our Team
We are currently in the process of obtaining non-profit 501c3 status to help Greetings of Gratitude continue it's mission to spread the message of kindness & reach Molly's goal of sharing cards nationally.
Molly is assisted in running the day to day communication and media by her mom, Kristin, and the business portion of the service project by her dad, Steve.
Additioanlly, we wouldn't be able to exist without the amazing support of our comunity members who so generously donate cards.
