Greetings of Gratitude
Sharing a smile with senior citizens one greeting card at a time, while promoting kindess across Rhode Island.
Our Story
The seeds of Greetings of Gratitude were planted in 2022 when, then 9 year old Providence native, Molly McBride joined up with fellow Rhode Island pageant titleholders to participate in Valentine's for Vets.
In 2023, Molly started a Cupid Crew, a group of volunteers who made and collected Valentine’s Day cards for senior citizens living across Rhode Island in Nursing, Assisted Living, and Veteran homes. The first year the Cupid Crew delivered over 300 cards.

In 2024 Molly's Cupid Crew grew and together they created over 800 cards for seniors in Rhode Island for Valentine's Day. After seeing the joy the cards bring for the residents of the homes and the joy it brings to those donating, Molly decided to expand the Cupid Crew to include other times of the year as well. Greetings of Gratitude was born!
Many of the cards donated come from children in local schools, day cares, and community organizations. Greetings of Gratitude is committed to building connections across generations to foster a sense of community, caring, and compassion.
